Beth, alongside her husband Adam, co-founded Capital Pawn in 2011. Born and raised in the stunning mid- Willamette Valley, Beth takes the of idea reduce, reuse, recycle and renew seriously as a native Oregonian. Capital Pawn became a natural fit for that passion. She graduated from Oregon State University with a BA in English and Masters in Teaching and was a Writing & Literature instructor for 16 years before opening Capital Pawn. Beth’s vision to mainstream the idea of pawn resulted in Capital Pawn opening a boutique style section within their store called Capital Couture.
With over 7 years in the pawn industry, Beth has continuously been learning and growing as a pawnbroker and business woman. She is constantly looking for the next thing to take their business to new heights. She currently sits on the Oregon Pawnbrokers Association Board as secretary,
Beth and Adam have 3 grown children and consider Capital Pawn an extension of their family.
