Pawn Expo Convention Policies
Attendance at the NPA Pawn Expo is open to any owner or designated employee of a pawn store.
Members attending who are not the primary contact in the NPA membership records (store employees, partners, etc.) may be asked to provide documentation of employment from the pawn store or partner relationship (pay stub, W2, or K1).
Manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors that do not own/operate a pawn store must purchase an exhibit booth to participate in the convention.
No one under the age of 16 years old will be permitted to attend Pawn Expo, including the Trade Show.
Name badges must be worn for identification and admittance into all Pawn Expo functions. Lost or stolen badges must be reported to NPA staff or convention security immediately.
Non Member Requirements
Non members must provide a copy of their pawn license, documentation of employment at the pawn store or partner relationship (pay stub, W2, or K1), and must pay their registration fees via company check.
Non member registration ends June 12, 2020 and all completed registration forms and supporting documentation must be received in the NPA office by that time. Non members are not permitted to register after that time, and are not permitted to register onsite.
The NPA may take photographs or film the trade show and other areas of the convention. By participating in Pawn Expo, you authorize NPA, without limitation, the right to reproduce, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute any such film or photograph, and waive all rights or claims you may have against the NPA and/or any of its Affiliates, Subsidiaries, or Assignees.
While all meeting attendees are invited to the trade show, any attendee who is observed soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, in another company’s booth or in violation of any portion of the Exhibition Policy, will be asked to leave immediately. Additional penalties may be applied.
Report any violations you observe to show management. Show management recognizes that suitcasing may also take the form of commercial activity conducted from a hotel guest room or hospitality suite; a restaurant, club, or any other public place of assembly. For the purposes of this policy, suitcasing violations may occur at venues other than the trade show and other events. Show management must be informed of any hospitality suites, and express written consent from NPA must be received prior to the event.
Only written requests received at NPA prior to May 5, 2020 will receive a refund, less a $25 administrative fee. NPA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.
NPA Pawnbroker Members that register three or more employees from the same company will receive a registration discount of 10% off each registration. Discount is only applicable for full member registrations. Trade show only registrations are not eligible.
