FedEx® Declared Value Advantage (DVA)

Standard carriers strictly cap declared values on luxury items. With the NPA FedEx DVA agreement, you can securely ship inventory with industry-grade coverage:

  • Higher Coverage Limits: Declare up to $100,000 per domestic shipment and up to $25,000 on outbound shipments to select international destinations.
  • Eligible Inventory: Jewelry, watches and watch movements, and materials intended as components of jewelry (such as pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, other precious metals and alloys, jewels, gold, silver and platinum).
  • Priority Handling: Coverage integrates across domestic priority and international priority transit options.
  • Specialized Security Packaging: Access complimentary security box kits featuring tear-resistant fiberboard inserts, or secure reinforced aluminum lockboxes fitted inside standard FedEx packaging.

Note: This eligibility applies exclusively to jewelry and jewelry-related items. It does not apply to shipments of other item types, and your DVA contract will define your maximum declared value allowed

How to Enroll

  1. Apply Online: NPA Members can sign up for free with an exclusive link in the NPA InfoHub. Click Here
  2. Review DVA Agreement: A FedEx DVA representative will follow up to review terms for high-value shipping.
  3. Sign & Return: Return the signed agreement to activate the DVA and FedEx Advantage benefits on your account.
  4. Start Saving: Once approved your discounts will apply directly to your FedEx account number for savings on every eligible shipment.
